Your main Responsibilities as a Science Teacher would include:

• Using creative teaching methods to make complex concepts easy to understand
• Planning extra-curricular activities, overseeing the science laboratory activities, assigning projects
• Work with students and help them overcome their learning challenges.
• Conduct experiments, assessments and exams
• Ensure student safety while experimenting in laboratories
• Monitor student’s progress, communicate with students, parents and colleagues

Your primary Requirements for this role are:

• Strong subject knowledge in Science, including Biology
• Excellent classroom management skills with the ability to engage and motivate students
• Effective communication, organisation, and time-management skills
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification/experience
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
• Willing to undertake Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks and Child Protection Training
• Must be able to provide 2 professional teaching references
