About the Job:
Sandy Spring Bank is currently recruiting for a SCC Remote Relationship Manager. This position is a centrally located sales role designed to remotely advise clients and prospects. Success will be derived from the quality of inbound request response and outbound sales activities. Sales opportunities will result from the proactive needs based assessments conducted during consultative conversations. Position will contribute to a productive team atmosphere with internal partners.
MAJOR JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responds to inbound inquiries and requests for new products and services received through internal referrals, marketing efforts and, remote channels including telephone, email and digital requests.
- Builds, expands and manages a portfolio of small business clients.
- Conducts proactive outbound sales activities, with assigned tasks primarily focused on acquiring new small business relationships while also deepening small business relationships.
- Identifies needs and makes recommendations that meet the Bank&rsquos and the client&rsquos financial goals.
- Facilitates accurate and timely fulfillment by opening new products and services or sending referrals as appropriate.
- Meets expectations in generating deposit accounts, loan applications, ancillary services, and referrals to other lines of business.
- Provides an exceptional level of service and follow-up to make the client&rsquos experience remarkable.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Broad professional level of knowledge and expertise in banking and sales. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business development area or call center environment.
- Ability to effectively handle sales opportunities through high-volume remote channels including telephone and email.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English to express ideas effectively, comprehend nuances, and be fully understood by clients and internal partners.
- Strong interpersonal skills to relate to and empathize with other people and to maintain a professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor throughout the day. Work requires high degree of team collaboration and regular contact with diverse groups internally and externally.
- Ability to utilize standard PC based software (Microsoft Office) and web-based Customer Relationship Management software
SPECIFIC PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Work requires reasonable mobility in and around the work area. Ability to use standard computer and phone systems is required
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Normal office environment where there is almost no discomfort due to temperature, dust, noise, or other disagreeable elements.
Work includes little or no potential exposure to hazardous conditions.
Must be able to travel to remote company and/or client locations.

Compensation Information
At Sandy Spring Bank, compensation is one part of our total rewards package. Compensation within the range will depend on your skills, qualifications, education, experience, and location. Additionally, full-time and part-time positions may be eligible to participate in department or company-wide incentive plans.
Salary Range
USD $65,000.00 – USD $102,500.00 /Yr.
