Terus Construction Ltd. is seeking for a Scales Person – Coordinator for its operations in Prince George reporting to the Regional Aggregate Manager. Your main functions are to record the movement of materials from the plant/pit to the required work site.

Duties/Tasks

• Record the delivery of materials to construction jobs, pit to pit transfers and asphalt and gravel sales.

• Prepare production reports and material inventory reports

• Requisition materials and supplies

• Ensuring hired truck tickets, timecards and equipment pre-trip checklists are collected daily for processing

• Filing and sorting of truck tickets and time and reconciling with the differing work sites.

• Assist in conducting inside sales to potential and existing clients to support our Aggregate business.

• Other general office duties and support.

Requirements

• Working Conditions & Requirements:

• Frequently exposed to noise and a regular flow of people through office

• Sitting at a desk 75% of time and 25% standing

• On-the-job training is provided

• Proper working attire and work boots

• Be able to work well with others

• Familiarity with digital scale

• To work with minimal supervision
