Location: Batesville, AR
Schedule:Monday – Friday, 6:30 A.M.- 4:00 P.M
Pay Range:$17.00 – $19.00 per hour, depending on experience

We are currently hiring aScale Clerkto join our team at theBatesville Transfer Station. This role is essential to the daily operations of the facility, ensuring accurate weight tracking,safe practices, and excellentcustomer service.

Duties &Responsibilities:

• Greet and direct all customers andcontractorsupon entry to the transfer station
• Weigh trucks in and out and calculating payments for customers
• Track weight information from scale tocomputer systemand get appropriate signatures
• Ensure that incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material
• Perform full clerical and general office duties
• Assist with office duties,filingand paperwork as needed
• Ensure that customers and employees conduct all business in a safe manner and wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Provide general upkeep of the Scale House
• Generate regular reports summarizing transaction data, weights, and other relevant information
• Provide reports to management as required

Requirements:

• Proficient in operatingcomputer systemsandMicrosoft Office(Outlook, Word, andExcel)
• ADEQ Journeyman or Masters certification preferred, if not, must be willing toget certification
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safetyandenvironmental regulationsis a plus
