We are looking for SAC Deployment lead to join our Voyager Reporting & Analytics  team in building innovative products that enterprises don’t just use, but love. Our team is motivated by crafting, building and releasing products that “wow” our customers, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible for making a better working world. You will work closely with engineering, QA, UX, and business teams to deliver highly available SAP technology solutions across the globe.

Diageo is therefore seeking a D&T Reporting, Analytics – SAP Data Architect, who has excellent technical and leadership capabilities to optimally deliver SAP S/4 Hana solutions in Diageo’s fast-paced environment. They will have efficiently implemented several S/4 Hana solutions across an array of core enterprise level applications as well as business specific capabilities.

Overview

R&A objective is to provide platforms and technologies to accelerate development of analytics products, to enable balanced and scalable development, and to guide technology decisions made by functions within Voyager and other relevant teams.

This role is for a Data Architect to join the Voyager team to provide thought leadership and expertise on future SAP Analytics Data Architecture  for the new transformational capabilities being introduced in Diageo as part of the SAP Digital Core ERP Transformation.

Top Accountabilities

As the D&T Reporting, Analytics SAP Data Architect you will lead the data model architecture to address business requirements and integration with other SAP and non SAP solutions (eg. Microsoft). Ensuring that we have a coherent approach that enables user clarity on data accessibility while safeguarding data consistency across solutions.

Accountabilities include:

• Architect and design data modelling and analytics solutions in collaboration with other team members (including with offshore talent partners) to ensure rapid development of quality, scalable and balanced data insights with global standard processes and consistency.
• Able to provide solutions to connect external data and SAP internal data structure to enable multi-functional advance analytics.
• Participate and drive the design workshops.
• Control the solution development, advising standard process and ensuring all teams adhere to quality processes.
• Make technology recommendations and develop Solution Architecture Design documents
• Participate in POCs to deliver data analytics solutions with up-to-date capabilities for SAP BTP Datasphere and other  available in the industry
• Responsible to propose the future SAP Analytics architecture (sophisticated integrations with multiple SAP solutions – Datasphere/GR/PaPm/ SAC BI and Planning) and integrations with S4 applications when applicable
• Partner with Security for a proper role design across multiple solutions to offer a seamless journey to the end user
• Develop & deploy SAP BTP Datasphere and solutions to address global and local requirements
• Works closely with SAP Center of Excellence bring business requirements to life
• Review build and testing output
• Communicate across the workstreams to ensure functional requirements are met
• Work with change and training teams to identify change impacts and training needs
• Partners with key Customers to align technology to business requirements
• Engage with the partner architects, TBS technical architects to ensure that the build is aligned to architectural standards and roadmaps
• Engage with controls responsible teams e.g. GAR, CARM, ITGC to ensure the delivery is compliant and secure
• Closely align with other data & analytics initiatives in Diageo

Required Competencies

• Deep knowledge of SAP technical and functional architecture, data model, and emerging SAP capabilities, including integrating SAP solutions
• Work closely with key partners with Voyager, Business and D&T to develop and complete SAP Data Models or Analytics transformation roadmap projects and help them with a quantifiable value case and delivery estimates and planning.
• Experience with SAP Datasphere, SAP MDG, S/4HANA Fiori, Embedded Analytics, SAP Analytics Cloud and CDS views development techniques.
• Assess opportunities against business objectives and identify creative means to implement new and innovative technical and process based SAP solutions.
• Comfortable with working with both structured and unstructured data
• A good understanding of IT infrastructure components and challenges
• Passion for growing and strengthening a business using data-driven approaches
• Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
• Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop and discuss potential solutions.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or equivalent is required.
• professional qualifications in advanced data design, big-dataTechnical expertise In SAP BTP (basic knowledge of all pillars).
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills, excellent collaboration and teaming skills with multiple groups, effective time management and multi-tasking skills, self-starter behavior.
• Experience with Microsoft technology to provide a consistent integration with downstream applications which requires SAP data.
• Demonstrated knowledge of tools like Eclipse for both SAPUI5/Fiori and ABAP developments.
• Knowledge of Fiori and ERP processes using SAP suite of products and its integration points. Applications include SAP S/4HANA and Cloud (Fiori, Concur, PaPM, ICMR, Group Reporting, SAP Cloud Platform, ESG etc.).
• Experience of working in a distributed environment (e.g. on-shore, off-shore, etc)
• Proven ability to work with 3rd parties to deliver the desired outcome
• Fluent English knowledge

Flexible Working options / Travel requirements 
It is our goal to reach greater flexibility of resources, which we recognize, may require a greater level of mobility and travel from some of our teams. For this role we anticipate the percentage of travel to be maximum 40%. Pattern of travel will be dependent on the needs of individual initiatives.
