Sales/Business Development Representative (Bilingual EN/FR) – Remote, CanadaDepartment: OperationsEmployment Type: Full TimeLocation: VariousReporting To: Tyler CyrenneCompensation: $47,500 – $70,000 / yearDescriptionRiipen is looking for a Bilingual (English/French) Sales / Business Development Representative (internally referred to as an Employer Success Manager) to join our Employer Success team.This role is ideal for individuals keen to jumpstart a career in B2B sales within the technology and/or education sectors. As an Employer Success Manager, you will be working to prospect, nurture, and convert employers into active customers. Your efforts will increase the number of employers on our platform providing students with meaningful experiential learning opportunities. You will be working on the frontlines with our employer partner network, collaborating with a highly effective, remote team.This role is fully remote and can be located anywhere in Canada. Please note that the salary range posted is inclusive of variable compensation.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct innovative, team-directed prospecting and lead generation (eg., through outreach campaigns, personal networking, and web-based searches)
- Independently conduct discovery phone calls and conversations to educate clients (employers) on the benefits of experiential learning with the goal of converting sign-ups into active customers
- Maintain active engagement with new and existing employer leads through creative & compelling email outreach
- Accurately and consistently record activity and contact information in HubSpot (CRM)
- Build strong relationships with all employers, and assist with platform training and project ideation, design and publishing
- Maintain frequent communication with clients and proactively make project recommendations to drive success and create real meaningful opportunities for students
- Engage in cross-functional collaboration, maintaining consistent communication with other teams at Riipen
- Proactively track and identify opportunities for license upgrades and referrals;
- Work closely with clients to ensure services delivered exceed expectations and to address any areas of improvement
- Be proactive in improving performance management metrics
- Execute sales strategies and achieve targets as developed by your team
- Develop and implement innovative strategies: Explore new and creative ways to prospect, nurture, and convert employers into active Riipen users through various campaigns
- Continuously come up with creative messaging to engage new and existing employers in email outreach
- Create compelling sales pitches: Craft persuasive and customized sales pitches that effectively communicate the value of our platform and the benefits it offers to employers

- Have fluency in oral and written French and English (mandatory);
- Have previous professional experience carrying a quota or working with targets in a sales or business development capacity;
- Be a strong communicator with the ability to explain concepts clearly both in writing and speech;

- Experience working in or closely with a SaaS business
