★ Clinic Registered Nurse ★Oak Ridge/Day shift 8:00am to 5:00pm/onsite/RN license Required★ Responsibilities ★

• Prepares patients for scheduled procedures and assists in patient assessment.
• Accurately records history and performs basic triage procedures per policy.
• Retrieves initial basic condition of patients, creates nursing history, and reports to the appropriate practitioner.
• Assists providers with examinations, procedures, and other processes related to direct patient care.
• Monitors and ensures accuracy of recording on patient medical records.
• Ensures an adequate stock of supplies and well-maintained equipment.
• Schedules all outside patient appointments per physician order and relays accurately to patients.
• Takes calls from hospitals/nursing homes and relays appropriate information to the practitioner in a timely manner.
• Assures test results are received and relayed to the patient in a timely manner.

★ Necessities ★

• RN License!

★ Additional Skills & Qualifications ★

• Experience with Cerner EMR is a bonus
• Ability to read and interpret medication use labels in ambulatory settings
• Proficiency in simple conversions and calculations of commonly used equivalents in ambulatory settings
• Knowledge of safe medication administration procedures as per CDC guidelines
• Ability to perform simple calculations for the amount of medicine to be administered from an ordered dose with varied concentrations

★ Work Environment ★· Urology Clinic· 8:00am – 5:00pm (+ an hour lunch)Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $30.00 – $32.50Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
