– Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia’s Course preferred, or willing to obtain within three (3) months of hire– Recent clinical experience (minimum two years) in medical/surgical/ CCC nursing preferred– Recent related courses, in-services in medical/ surgical/ CCC nursing– ACLS certification preferred, or willing to obtain within three (3) months of hireABILITIES:– Specialized nursing skills in the area of medical/chronic nursing– Ability to plan, organize and problem solve– Excellent communication skills– Working knowledge of Meditech Information System and personal computer applications**Applicants may be eligible for Canada Student Loan Forgiveness and Tuition Support Program for Nurses programs****Successful applicants who have not yet been employed as a nurse within Ontario will be eligible to receive a commitment bonus of $25,000 in exchange for a 2-year full-time commitment of service**Please be advised that we are no longer accepting emailed or paper-based resumes.
