We’re a passionate group of people who love collaborating on innovative and challenging projects.About this roleWe are recruiting for a Revit Technician to join our Kelowna Pre-Planning office. Here’s how your role will strengthen our team.Ideally this position is Hybrid, based out of our Kelowna office, however, we will consider remote work options.We are looking for an Intermediate or Senior level Revit Technician, with experience working in Revit MEP and specifically Electrical.Your responsibilities

  • Support and work closely with our electrical planners to provide Revit assisted drafting. This entails 3D modeling clash adjustments and coordination, concept modeling, infrastructure layouts, wiring pull plans, and electrical details
  • Help facilitate clash detection and attend coordination meetings with MEP trades
  • Help create and fine tune Revit content (ex. Families, templates, etc.)
  • Investigate and test new Revit add-ons and other BIM/VDC technologies
  • Work side by side with our planners to repair bulk modeling issues within Revit, on electrical products, such as Conduit racks, distribution equipment, and in wall devices
  • Stay on top of the changes/adaptations to the industry and be open to learning new software’s and technologies

Your experience and skills

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience with focus on BIM Management, Modeling, and/or technologies
  • Advanced experience in Revit MEP, Autodesk BIM360 and Navisworks is required
  • Strong knowledge and ability to interpret design and construction drawings
  • Strong organizational and prioritizing skills with the ability to take initiative
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a collaborative environment.
  • Eager personality with drive to continue to learn and develop
  • Energetic, flexible, problem-solving mindset

Salary Range: $24 – $30 per hour, plus a competitive total compensation package. Actual salary will depend on your experience, skills and overall match to the position offered.
