We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant General Manager to join a fast-casual dining team focused on providing exceptional customer experiences and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leadership, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to upholding company standards. This role supports the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of daily operations while mentoring a high-performing team.Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflows and high-quality service.
  • Supervise, train, and develop team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes for staff.
  • Manage scheduling and labor costs to meet business needs and optimize efficiency.
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation standards.
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, monitor stock levels, and coordinate ordering to minimize waste.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest feedback and resolving issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager on achieving sales targets and operational goals.
  • Uphold brand standards and ensure the restaurant is clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • Lead by example in all aspects of operations, creating a culture of accountability and teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role within the restaurant or food service industry.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a proven ability to inspire and motivate employees.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic understanding of financial management, including labor cost control and inventory management.
  • Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed.
