Job introductionAbout the roleCould you bring your knowledge and expertise in social care to support the work of the Revenue Team?The Revenue Team work with people that experience difficulties in paying the assessed client contribution, towards their care and support. We regularly support people experiencing complex issues that can impact on their ability to manage their finances, leading to the accrual of debt.We are seeking someone with experience and knowledge of health and social care legislation and safeguarding procedures. A key focus area of the role will be assessing the person’s capacity to manage their financial affairs, in line with the Mental Capacity Act and reviewing Care Act assessments. This work will allow us to progress cases and reach appropriate outcomes for the people we support.You’ll be joining the service at an exciting time, with ongoing development in progress to ensure we can meet increasing demand, and that effective debt recovery processes are followed. You will be supported with clinical supervision from an appropriately qualified practitioner, in addition to regular supervision from your line manager.Hybrid working arrangements are applicable to the role, this includes elements of office-based working, visiting people in the community and working from home.Please click the ‘apply now’ button to submit your Application Form.
