Research Associate, Analytical Chemistry

Job DescriptionVertex is seeking a talented self-motivated individual to join our growing Analytical & Purification group that provides critical analytical and purification services to the chemistry department within the research function at Milton Park, Oxfordshire. The candidate will have responsibility for the daily operation and maintenance of analytical and preparative LC-MS and SFC-MS systems. In addition to delivering a timely and reliable service, the candidate will be expected to develop new methodologies and operating procedures. As experience in the role grows there may be opportunities to collaborate with other groups on specific research projects. The candidate will have a passion for analytical chemistry and its role in the drug discovery process, with excellent inter-personal and communication skills to ensure maximum benefit is derived from their analytical knowledge. Key requirements
A BSc in Organic chemistry, Analytical chemistry or closely related field.
