Hiring remote Pharmacists!

Actalent is hiring a Pharmacist to assist with Prior Authorization reviews. This individual must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Pharmacy and have worked doing Prior Authorizations before.

Qualifications: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree. Current pharmacist license in good standing with the State Board of Pharmacy in at least one of the following states: Texas, Kansas, Arizona, Georgia, North Carolina, New Jersey

Key duties involve tracking coverage determination requests, obtaining verbal authorizations, approving requests based on criteria, entering decisions into the PBM system, and notifying providers and members. Technicians will also respond to client inquiries, refer requests for specialty drugs, contact providers for additional information, and notify stakeholders of decision outcomes. Obtain verbal authorizations and request detailed clinical information from prescribers. Notify physicians, providers, and members of coverage determination request decisions.
