This is your opportunity to play a part in this transformation!We are looking for a Reinstatement Specialist to support our Network Construction team to successfully complete large scale Mains renewal scheme activity as allocated within the regional area.EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOWAs the Reinstatement Specialist your key role you will primarily be responsible for accurately measuring excavations and arranging for the appropriate reinstatement to take place, across multiple locations within the region. This is done by ensuring the correct dimensions and surface materials are provided to the chosen reinstatement provider.Within this role you would be responsible for successfully communicating and liaising with the programme team for permit extensions and off hiring of Traffic management once reinstatement is complete. The role has responsibility for reviewing, challenging, and agreeing defects with external bodies such as the council / Highways Agency, with escalations referred to the NC Reinstatement Manager. This role does not have direct people management or supervisory responsibility however needs to be able to liaise effectively with the team, you will also need to possess the ability to influence.Key Accountabilities
WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLEFor this role the right candidate will have a full driving license and ideally have your National Water Hygiene and NRSWA with significant experience working within utility-based industry. You’ll have good communication skills and the ability to build successful working relationships as you will be working as part of a team. The right skills and experience are important.
