Join Swiss Re’s Regulatory Operations team as a Compliance Associate to support North America product offerings and policy issuance!
About the Role:
This role provides support to the Regulatory Operations team throughout the development, preparation, and implementation of the product filings life cycle. This includes collaborating directly with teammates, stakeholders, and state departments of insurance to assure appropriate involvement and timeliness during the filing.
Additional key responsibilities include:

Assist the Regulatory Operations teammates with filing processes for rates, rules, and forms.

Independently review and analyze the product and filing impact of bureau circulars and communicate changes including assisting in completing the filing process for rates, rules and forms required.

Support timely processing of referrals received via the forms analyst mailbox for all product lines, including formatting specifications and determination of filing action.

Interaction and coordination with other internal functional areas including Products, Underwriting, Legal, etc.

Ensure Swiss Re’s internal tracking system is up to date and accurate with current regulatory compliant product filing information.
The position is flexible to our Kansas City, MO or Windsor, CT offices. Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office three days per week on average.
About the Team:
We are the Product Services team providing support to multiple Corporate Solutions businesses across the globe. We have a diverse set of skillsets and work collaboratively with departments in the organization to comply with state regulatory requirements and implement product and regulatory changes. No two days are alike as we navigate an ever-changing product and regulatory environment. We work together as a team to help our teammates, train, and mentor our new colleagues, and pursue constant improvement.
About You:
You bring solid, strong critical thinking skills. Needing minimal supervision to be productive, you roll up your sleeves to take initiative and dive right in! You are adept at anticipating, thinking all the way through to the endgame and successfully managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

College degree or equivalent work experience.

Extremely Proficient in Microsoft Word.

Ability to negotiate and problem-solve skillfully and successfully.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Ability to work efficiently and effectively both independently and in team settings.

Knowledge and understanding of Insurance Company operations and the regulatory environment preferred.
PC Skills: Word, Excel, SERFF, iFile, NILS, ISOnet, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
