We are seeking a reliable Referral Coordinator for a primary care setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating patient referrals to specialists, ensuring accurate and timely processing of referrals, verifying insurance, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers. The candidate will also assist with scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records related to referrals.Requirements:High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in a referral coordination role or similar healthcare setting (preferred)Knowledge of medical terminology and office proceduresFamiliarity with insurance verification and referral processesStrong organizational skills with attention to detailExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentBLS certification (preferred)Schedule:
Monday to Friday, no weekends or holidaysStart Date: ASAPCompensation: $18-22/hr
Expected salary
$20 – 22 per hour
