DESCRIPTIONThe Recruitment Consultant apprenticeship will appeal to individuals who possesses an entrepreneurial outlook with a passion for candidate talent search and engagement. To be successful, you will foster a collaborative team environment and a strong service-oriented culture which ensures delivery of an efficient, effective, quality driven service to internal and external customers.As you progress through your apprenticeship you will become competent at:– Identifying and contacting potential job candidates.
– Conducting and scheduling candidate interviews and assessments.
– Liaising with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs.
– Matching candidates to job openings.
– Providing guidance and advice to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
– Maintaining accurate records of candidate information.
– Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and job market developments.

As a working student your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off the job time by learning and developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. Please note: As part of your off-the-job learning, you may be required to travel to a training centre. This location may differ from your primary work base. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel as part of the apprenticeship programme. You will be set goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies.You will build your skills over an 18-month period, starting in July. These skills will help you develop personally and professionally. – Be 18 years or over before the start date
– Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme).
– Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years
– Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme
– Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending June 2025 or later
– Have at least 3 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English
