You will work towards the Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard – Recruitment Consultant.Key job responsibilities
You will be combining working in your assigned team as a Recruitment Consultant apprentice whilst continuing your studies to achieve your qualification. As a working student your focus is to complete your studies in your 20% off the job time by learning and developing your skills, knowledge and behaviours to work towards successful graduation. You will be set objectives and goals by your training provider and manager to support your studies.You will build your skills over a 18-month period, starting in September. These skills will help you develop personally and professionally. Your apprenticeship will be made up of classroom/virtual based training to cover knowledge, on-the-job training at your Amazon base location, online learning as well as mentoring from our experienced team members.As you progress through your apprenticeship you will become competent at:– Identifying and contacting potential job candidates.
– Conducting and scheduling candidate interviews and assessments.
– Liaising with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs.
– Matching candidates to job openings.
– Providing guidance and advice to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
– Maintaining accurate records of candidate information.
– Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and job market developments.
– Maintaining hiring data points and analysing trends.In this program, you will delve into the intricacies of recruitment techniques, acquiring the skills needed to source, screen, and interview candidates effectively. A pivotal aspect involves the development of candidate and client management skills, emphasising the building and maintenance of strong relationships with both job seekers and hiring managers. You will also gain a comprehensive understanding of job market dynamics and industry trends, providing valuable insights that contribute to successful placements.The curriculum places a strong emphasis on the development of sales and negotiation skills, enabling you to adeptly match candidates to suitable job opportunities. Understanding the legal and ethical aspects of recruitment is essential, ensuring fair practices and compliance with regulations. Additionally, you will attain proficiency in data management, encompassing the scheduling and utilisation of recruitment software, as well as the management of candidate databases. Through this comprehensive approach, you will be well-equipped to navigate the challenges of recruitment, fostering positive relationships and contributing to successful placements within the dynamic job market.BASIC QUALIFICATIONSCandidates should be 18 years or over before the start date and have the right to live and work in England.Candidates must be proficient in English, as well as ideally having advanced (C1 or C2 level) fluency in one of the following languages: Spanish, Italian, or French.For the apprenticeship programme we prioritise applicants eligible to government funding for their apprenticeship and for this you need to:
– Be 18 years or over before the start date
– Have the right to live and work in England (if you are on a visa, this needs to enable you to legally work and reside in England for the entire duration of the programme).
– Have lived in the UK or in the European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 years
– Be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme
– Not be registered to study on a UK government funded course ending September 2025 or later
– Have at least 3 GCSEs C grade (grade 4) or above including Maths and English

PLEASE NOTE: This position is an 18 month fixed-term contract. You must NOT already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level than this apprenticeship Please note, you will be required to evidence your qualifications. If you have gained qualifications outside of the UK you will be required to evidence that they are equivalent. Note: This Apprenticeship assumes the candidate has some or little knowledge/experience of the occupation, and is NOT suitable for candidates who already have a similar or higher-level qualification in the same or similar subject of the apprenticeship. You’ll complete 3 video questions to tell us more about you, your motivations and any transferrable skills you have.As a last step, we will invite successful candidates to an assessment centre where you’ll get the chance to meet the recruitment team and the hiring teams that align to the programme you have applied for. As part of the assessment centre, you may be expected to take part in a group exercise, a presentation, 1 to 1 interviews and other tasks relating to your chosen programme.
