The Recruitment Assistant will provide comprehensive and proactive administrative support to the Recruitment Manager (Experienced Hires) and the Director of Recruitment (Europe & Asia) as requested to attract, recruit and hire highly qualified GO! Team members, associates and lateral partners to meet the Firm’s needs.
What You Will Do:-
- Assist the Recruitment Manager (Experienced Hires) and Director of Recruitment (Europe & Asia) with all aspects of recruitment, including data entry; screening CVs; coordinating interviews; candidate file maintenance; expense reimbursement; collating and sharing feedback; preparing employment contracts and new hire processes;
- Provide support to Office/HR Managers with recruitment processes for the Firm’s offices in Europe & Asia;
- Maintain recruitment databases (currently LawCruit and Workday) including entry and purging of CV data, interview information, interview schedules, and reporting for all European candidates;
- Ensure integrity of data in all recruitment systems in accordance with GDPR;
- Support the recruitment team in developing new and existing relationships with consultants, suppliers, and third-party organisations;
- Act as a key contact for all candidates throughout the lifecycle of their recruitment, including keeping them updated and informed in the period between an offer being made and them joining the Firm;
- Track candidate metrics and perform other statistical analysis around GO! Team and attorney hiring;
- Work with other departments to track and maintain necessary onboarding information for all new hires;
- Work with the HR team on ensuring thorough completion of background checks;
- Act as the central point of contact for execution and tracking of all search firm agreements for the Firm’s European offices; monitoring expiry dates and flagging with the relevant Manager or Director;
- Monitor recruitment inbox queries, process recruitment expenses and invoices, and other administrative duties as requested;
- Track recruitment expenditure in line with the annual budget and reforecasts;
- Coordinate the annual refresh of the London office’s GO! Team and attorney recruitment brochures;
- Support the Recruitment Manager (Experienced Hires) in ensuring the relevant integration framework is implemented for all GO! Team and attorney hires;
- Support the Recruitment Manager (Experienced Hires) with reviewing applications for GO! team positions where appropriate;
- Utilise technology available (currently LinkedIn Recruiter and Pirical) to prepare talent pipelines, market maps and market intelligence;
- Support the Director of Recruitment (Europe & Asia), with GO! Team and attorney recruiting for offices outside of London as required;
- Work closely with the recruitment and DEI teams to ensure the active recruitment and retention of underrepresented candidates to the Firm;
- Provide backup support to early careers when requested in the absence of the Recruitment Assistant (Early Careers);
- Additional ad hoc projects.
Who You Are:-
- Educated to degree level or previous experience in HR/recruitment (preferred);
- Well organised, self-motivated and keen to learn;
- Strong computer skills/proficiency in computer systems, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, comfortable working with databases;
- Superb organisational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously; flexibility and professionalism in dealing with last minute changes;
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; professional and courteous demeanor; ability to interact effectively with all levels of the firm and candidates;
- Ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential information;
- Attention to detail, initiative to own a project, ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Ability to provide a high level of service in a fast paced environment.
