Job Description:The Recruiting Coordinator is accountable for providing a wide variety of administrative support activities and functions as it relates to the recruitment and hiring process. This position will work closely with an assigned recruiter and mentor to train and transition work activities, this position will also work in close collaboration and in a direct reporting relationship to the Senior Director of Recruiting.We are open to hiring the ideal candidate on either a part-time or full-time basis, depending on their availability and preferences. This position requires an extremely perceptive person, who can relate to individuals at all levels from many diverse backgrounds. As unique situations present themselves, the Recruiting Coordinator must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the public image. Experience working with Alaska Native cultures is critical for success. Qualifications:
Working Conditions and Physical RequirementsWeather: Indoors – environmentally controlled; requires most or all work to be done inside.Noise level: The noise level in the work environment is usually that of a standard office atmosphere.Description of environment: Office building with standard office environment.
Physical requirements: Employee is required to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands/fingers to handle or feel, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, talk/hear, see, taste/smell, and carry weight/lift.Travel: Up to 10% of the time. Employee may travel throughout Alaska and/or to remote locations and may be required to use alternative modes of transportation, including but not limited to snow machines, boats, small airplanes, and ATVs. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
