Role: Recruiter – Talent AcquisitionLocation: ManchesterSalary: £30,000 – £35,000 per annumWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Recruiter in Manchester to join our high-volume talent acquisition team, focused on sourcing and hiring top talent within the electrical installation sector. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle, from taking the job requirement, sourcing candidates to extending job offers, with an emphasis on efficiency, quality, and an exceptional candidate experience.Responsibilities:
- Proactively source, screen, and engage candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, employee referrals, and pro-active searc methods.
- Develop and maintain a robust talent pipeline to meet the ongoing and future staffing needs of the electrical installation sector.
- Utilise innovative sourcing techniques to attract passive candidates and ensure a diverse candidate pool.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, interviewing, candidate assessments, and offer negotiation.
- Conduct initial phone screens and in-depth interviews to assess candidates’ skills, experience, and cultural fit for roles within the electrical installation sector.
- Collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their specific staffing needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, providing timely feedback, and guiding candidates through the recruitment process.
- Serve as a brand ambassador, representing the company and its values to prospective candidates.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Work closely with the recruitment coordinator and hiring managers to continuously improve recruitment processes, tools, and strategies.
- Participate in team meetings, sharing insights and best practices to contribute to the overall success of the talent acquisition function.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in recruitment, particularly within the electrical installation sector.
Experience and Certifications Required:
- 2+ years of experience in high-volume recruitment, preferably within the fire, construction or electrical installation sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully filling multiple positions within tight timelines.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
- Strong sourcing and networking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Qualified through experience.
- Recruitment certification are a plus.
