Job Title: RaSP Fleet Management TeamSalary: The starting salary is £33,348, which includes allowances totalling £2,841.The salary is broken down as £30,507 basic salary, which will increase annually until you reach the top of the scale £32,639 Plus, a location allowance of £1,841 and a non-pensionable allowance of £1,000.Location: Lambeth HQ, 109 Lambeth Road, SW1, Other sites within MPD and OMPD (including OSUK)Job AdvertRoyalty & Specialist Protection (RaSP) provides personal close protection nationally and internationally for the UK, this includes for the monarch and prime minster, and they are also responsible for protecting Royal residences in London, Windsor and Scotland.Work Involves:RaSP FLEET MANAGEMENT TEAM

• You will assist with the day-to-day management of RaSP’s high value fleet with administration in order to maintain operational effectiveness.
• Working as part of a team, you will support operational protection teams in planning spontaneous and long-term fleet management.
• Taking part in large events within the MPD and OMPD (including OSUK) including the delivery and collection of vehicles.
• You will be expected to problem solve issues of vehicle logistics on a daily basis and deal with additional vehicles for conferences / overseas visitors usually within a very tight timeframe and as a result need to be able to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment.
• Administer the processing of PCN/FPN.
• Weekly mileage collation.
• General maintenance of vehicle storage area.
• Manage the ordering and receipt of fleet stores.
• Manage vehicle bookings.

VettingThis post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post; with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required.Additionally, this material is of particular sensitivity to the UK and its distribution must be restricted to UK nationals. In approved circumstances dual nationals (of which one element is British) may also be granted access. However, in the event that potential conflicts of interest cannot be managed the post holder will not be able to see the intelligence material and will not be able to perform their duties. • You will be expected to be adept at problem solving, multi-tasking and possess good organisational and prioritising skills, meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision and therefore self-reliant.
• Able to process a wealth of detail to problem solve and provide sound decision making.
• Able to exercise a high level of discretion in relation to confidential material.
• Being able to attend events outside MPD and at short notice.
• To be a confident communicator, able to express yourself clearly both orally and in writing and therefore possess good inter-personal skills
• Good IT skills are required to perform role effectively. Word, Excel and Microsoft Box.

Desirable Criteria:

• Previous knowledge of fleet management.
• Minimum Driving licence category’s C1/D1

Additional information

• Shift Pattern: 36-hour week, Monday – Friday 0700 – 1500hrs
