Job Title: Quantity Surveyor
Location: Canary Wharf, LondonOur client, a leading property developer, is hiring for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their team on a new high-end development in Canary Wharf. This is an opportunity to work on a landmark project with a company known for delivering high-quality, design-led residential and mixed-use developments.The RoleAs a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the cost and commercial aspects of this project. You will play a key role in ensuring that budgets are maintained while delivering quality and efficiency.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates and budgets for the development
• Manage and monitor project costs, ensuring value for money
• Conduct risk and value management assessments
• Assist in procurement processes, including tendering and contract administration
• Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors
• Prepare reports on project costs and progress
• Liaise with stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and architects
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

About You

• A degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or qualified via experience
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes
• Excellent analytical and negotiation skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
