Job DescriptionJob ID#:4593Job Category:ManufacturingOur well established client located just outside of Saratoga Springs, NY is seeking a skilled and driven Quality Manager to lead its Quality Department. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about upholding product and process quality at every level of the organization.The ideal candidate will be highly self-motivated and disciplined, capable of managing a team and coordinating resources to meet departmental goals. This leadership role requires a hands-on approach to enforcing quality standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the company.Responsibilities of the Quality Manager will include:

• Lead and manage a Quality Department team of 6–10 employees
• Allocate resources to ensure timely completion of factory acceptance testing (FAT), receiving inspections, Quality Control Reports (QCRs), and non-conforming material reports (NCRs)
• Prepare and present quality performance metrics to company leadership
• Oversee First Piece Qualifications (FPQs) for new product lines
• Facilitate internal and external root cause analysis (RCA) to address process and product issues
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and coordinate internal/external audits
• Guide the creation and maintenance of manufacturing work instructions (WIs) and quality plans (MPQPs)
• Coordinate and supervise customer and third-party inspections
• Support customer claims handling in collaboration with the Claims Coordinator
• Manage departmental budget and resource allocation effectively

Job RequirementsQualifications of the Quality Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) or a comparable combination of education and experience
• Proven experience in a supervisory or management role
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word, for quality reporting and documentation
• Ability to prioritize and maintain high quality standards in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
