Reach out directly to apply TODAY to Grace Williams atJob DescriptionAs a Quality Control Technician, you will work collaboratively and independently within the Quality Department supporting the manufacturing process. You will assist with maintaining data related to quality, leading the process of returning non-conforming parts to suppliers, maintaining the Quality lab, coordinating external 3rd party audits, and other tasks as needed to support Quality. You will work with a team of managers, scientists, engineers, supervisors, technicians, and production employees as you own and manage assigned Quality projects and processes.

• Maintain the Quality lab as a clean, safe work environment while complying with all safety and environmental rules and regulations.
• Test, analyze, contain, sort, and report results for quality issues.
• Review quality control plans, nonconforming material reports, change requests, and input data into quality management systems.
• Assist in updating reports and dashboards to support Quality.
• Manage suppliers and be comfortable contacting them if sorting of parts is required.
• Interpret scientific drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or scientific staff to determine quality relative to warranty agreements.
• Package and prepare product returns for shipment to suppliers.
• Ownership of certain suppliers will be required.
• Ownership meaning key contact awareness, onsite visits to review corrective actions, PPAP reviews, etc.

Hard Skills

• 2+ years of quality control experience
• Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to interpret scientific drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas
• Experience within quality GMP environment

Soft Skills

• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and engaged learner
• Ability to effectively communicate across multiple departments
