We are seeking candidates for Quality Control Lead roles on the night shift. Compensation for this direct-hire opportunity is $23.00+ per hour. Interested? Read below for more information!
What you’ll do as a Quality Control Lead:

• Perform a variety of testing pertaining to energy drinks, including carbonation, brix, weight of cans, tasting of product for conformity
• Accurately collect samples for testing purposes, retention samples, and customer samples
• Perform hourly (sometimes half-hour) quality checks which include, but are not limited to pH, titration and brix, carbonation, taste odor, and appearance, and can weights
• Ensure batching sheets are filled out properly and within specifications before signing off
• Perform Titratable Acidity analysis of products
• Perform HPLC analysis of products for caffeine and preservative levels
• Ensure the accuracy of all measuring devices, including their calibration
• Accurately record and document results from product analysis
• Oversee training of new Lab Techs
• Adhere and comply with required regulations

What you need to become a Quality Control Lead:

• Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or chemistry is preferred
• 3-5+ years of experience in a leadership role within Quality Control or in a food or beverage production facility
• Must have thorough knowledge of a wide variety of analytical testing equipment and microbial testing
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to communicate with all levels of employees, vendors, customers, and visitors
