Quality Assurance Inspector

Job Description

The responsibilities of a Quality Assurance Inspector include but are not limited to:

• Fill out the Quality Assurance Daily Reports.
• Perform a resin check of the molding floor.
• Check cycle times of molding machines that are running.
• Pick up a complete shot of parts off of each molding press that is running.
• Size molding parts and check the jobs on the molding floor and document all findings.
• Notify Process Techs and QA Shift Lead/GL/Manager of defects and size problems on molded parts.
• Weigh molding parts and document findings
• Perform a squeeze test and lid fit test if applicable
• Check the jobs on the Print floor and document findings
• Check core shift.
• Route all papers to be filed into appropriate folders or files.

The qualifications include:

• High school education or equivalent.
• Good color perception.
• Self-motivated.
• Good organizational skills.
• Good math skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous quality experience preferred.
