In this role, you will focus on test automation, exploratory testing, manual testing and apply best practices in continuous integration-continuous delivery (CI/CD) to deliver uncompromising high quality software, while keeping ahead of a fast-paced development team. You are extremely hands on and passionate about the end product through the pursuit of excellence and delivering the best customer-centric solutions to our customers.Accountabilities

• Develop, execute, and maintain test suites and test scenarios (both automated and manual), based on new product feature requirements as well as defect fixes as a member of the team.
• Assess testing requirements and provide estimates of testing effort and resources
• Continually analyze code for anti-patterns, coach, and improve upon testing principles and patterns across the team.
• Participate in automation, code reviews, pair-programming, and other activities to promote mastery of automation software quality practices.
• Perform QA activities that include executing test suites, generating test data, reporting on testing progress, and identifying risks to other team members.
• Evaluate and identify test scenarios for test automation, develop and maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipeline.
• Ensure test data is adequate and compliant to privacy and confidentiality rules.
• Research, investigate, and recommend future improvements with found issues. Identify user-errors and poor user experience to the Product team.
• Utilize Scrum while working with a diverse team of stakeholders to deliver quality products in an Agile environment.
• As a teammate at ATB Financial, you will agree to uphold our values and Code of Conduct.

• Create and maintain accurate run books for technical product troubleshooting.
• Ensure adherence to ATB’s security procedures and protocols and change control process.
• Provide on-call and after hours support as assigned, on a rotational basis for technical product support.

Skills, experience & requirements

• Recognized Computer Science, related Software Development field or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in testing mission-critical and high availability scalable web and mobile applications using a variety of technologies.
• Banking system or fintech experience preferred
• Experience querying databases for test validation and test data mining.
• Expertise in writing and updating test cases and automated testing scripts for web applications and mobile apps.
• Experience with regression, integration and smoke testing testing
• Experience with mobile automation frameworks such as XCUITest or Appium
• Experience with API test automation tools / framework such as Selenium, PyTest, Playwright, K6 or Postman.
• Experience with Performance Testing, Load Testing and Stress Testing tools such as JMeter or Gatling
• Experience in writing and updating test cases and automated testing scripts for API’s.
• Experience working in Agile environment using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Git & Figma
• Self-starter, with the ability to establish goals, metrics, milestones, and keep projects on task and strong strategic thinking skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills (both verbal and nonverbal).
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps concepts and technologies is a bonus.
• Experience with Docker, Google Cloud Platform and microservice architectures is preferred.
