As a member of the IT project team, the QA Analyst’s role is to ensure that all tasks are identified and executed according to our SDLC.Major Responsibilities:

• Creation of test strategy documents and detailed test plans/matrices
• Thoroughly understand the functional requirements and the solution to test efficiently and effectively
• Perform risk assessments in conjunction with the team
• Provide defect analysis, daily reporting, and management reporting
• Assist in defining quality procedures, standards, and specifications
• Identify opportunities and solutions for process improvement
• Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
• Work closely with the project team and key stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Completion of university degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years of Quality Assurance experience and/or Personal Lines Insurance experience (Automobile)
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Process oriented approach / creating and maintaining artifacts
• Excellent time management skills / ability to establish priorities
• Must be a team player
• Self-starter with ability to work independently
• Ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• In addition to the skills mentioned above, Test Automation, IBC/GAA reporting and/or Evolution/Renaissance experience would be considered an asset:
