Seeking Pump Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a top-tier industrial pump installation and repair company in Phoenix, AZThis position offers a comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending, 401(k), paid holidays, Life and Disability Insurance, and additional supplemental products.Training/Certifications: Ability to perform laser alignments and ability to take vibration readings preferredShift Time/Overtime: First Shift with Overtime as requiredPay: $25-45/H based on experience.Job Responsibilities for Pump Mechanic :

• Disassemble, repair, prep, paint rotating or centrifugal pumps
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Use micrometers and dial indicators
• Utilize presses, torches and pullers
• Align pumps and motors
• Rebuild mechanical seals

Qualifications for Pump Mechanic:

• High School Diploma or Trade school or equivalent training.
• 2 plus years of work experience as pump mechanic with installation and repair experience preferred.
• Experience and ability to use safely lifting devices such as cranes, forklifts, and rigging
• Experience or knowledge in welding and fabrication preferred
• Have a working knowledge of fits and clearances
• Be adept at reading micrometers and other measuring instruments

Physical Requirements for Pump Mechanic:

• This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
• It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• This position requires working in diverse conditions including, open air shop and field environments
