As a nimble and specialized firm, we pride ourselves on delivering practical insight, expert analysis, and enduring value to our clients.Position OverviewFuse Advisors is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced mining professional with 7–15 years of engineering experience across various phases of the mining lifecycle. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to contribute to both field and office-based project execution.This is a remote position open to candidates located anywhere in Canada . Those who enjoy coming into the Vancouver office are welcome to do so.Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the planning and execution of technical and engineering aspects of mining projects.Support project managers in scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and technical delivery.Analyze engineering data and prepare high-quality technical reports, drawings, and models.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including geologists, environmental scientists, and project managers.Provide engineering insight for trade-off studies, feasibility assessments, and operational optimization.Interface with clients and stakeholders to ensure engineering deliverables align with project goals.Assist in managing project risks, technical challenges, and engineering design decisions.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, software tools, and best practices.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mining, Metallurgical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related field (required).7–15 years of progressive mining, metallurgical, mechanical, and/or civil engineering experience within the mining industry.Strong technical background with experience in mine design, scheduling, and/or operations support.NIce to have: Familiarity with mining software (e.g., Deswik, MinePlan, Surpac, Whittle, or similar tools).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative project team.Why Fuse Advisors?Join a respected and agile advisory firm with a strong reputation in the mining industry.Work remotely or in-office with a team of highly experienced professionals.Collaborate on challenging and high-impact projects across a variety of commodities and jurisdictions.Enjoy a flexible and supportive work environment that values integrity, innovation, growth and practical excellence.
