Every day we apply our expertise, creativity, and passion to propel.Your OpportunityYour role will be to provide administrative support to our team through a variety of functions related to design, construction, and project management, but with an emphasis on supporting the construction contract administration team with document control through the construction phase.Your Key ResponsibilitiesTrack, log and distribute deliverables during the construction phase of projectsCoordinate with all disciplines to assist with updating logs and providing updates on deliverablesMaintain project team directories, file emails, and communicate changes or process updates to the team both internally and externallyAssist project teams in preparing change management documentation and certificates of payment for multiple projectsPrepare weekly updates and logs to the team for project coordination on deliverablesAssist in tracking project management deliverables across multiple projectsAssist in assembling and executing contractual agreementsAssist with Quality Control and Quality Assurance related to contract administration and project management deliverablesAttend meetings and work cooperatively with all team membersAdhere to corporate policies and procedures for both Stantec and the clientOther administrative duties as requiredQualificationsYour Capabilities and CredentialsProficient in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel as well as Teams and SharePointProficient in Blue Beam and working experience in a document control platform such as Newforma (or Onware etc)Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and organize multiple concurrent assignmentsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to perform effectively under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environmentCapable of performing repetitive tasks with a high level of proficiency and accuracyMust be willing and able to take initiative when neededWillingness to learn and accept feedbackEducation and Experience1-3 years of experience in an administrative role (project experience an asset)Associate degree or technical school diploma/certificate in a related fieldTypical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time.
