We deliver superior customer service to patients, healthcare providers and pharmaceutical manufacturers toimprove healthcare outcomes for all stakeholders.We are hiring a Program Manager, OncologyThe Program Manager Oncology will oversee the planning, implementation and tracking of program deliverables and projects. They will ensure the program team successfully delivers the desired result on time and with the most efficient resources. Leadership of key client projects will be in partnership with a Senior Program Manager or Director.What you will doManage oncology program deliverables on time and within scopeEnsure program objectives and KPIs are metParticipate and/or lead in day-to-day client communications and regularly scheduled client meetingsIdentify risks in the program and communicate appropriately with senior management to develop risk mitigation planFacilitate cross functional team meetings, as neededWork with internal stakeholders ensuring all parties understand deliverables and take accountability and ownership of those deliverablesProvide a collaborative environment for the cross functional team for issues to be discussed and resolved effectivelyParticipate in the development and updates required for program contractsProvide input into the budgeting and forecasting as neededAssist quality initiatives including input to CAPAs and auditsAttend relevant conferences to stay up to date on oncology trends and foster positive client / external stakeholder relationships.Report all Adverse Events (AE) and Product Technical Complaints (PTC) immediately or as soon as possible upon becoming aware of the event as per current policies and procedures.Required Skills and Qualifications3-5 years’ account management and/or patient support program management or management experience and/or previous pharmaceutical brand management experience or equivalentExperience in oncology patient support program is an assetOncology therapeutic knowledge and expertise is an assetAn understanding of the external care community including oncologists/hematologist/cancer centers /Drug Access Navigators (DAN)An understanding of oncology or hematology care continuumAn expert level of knowledge of reimbursement mechanisms for oncology medications in the public and private arenasDemonstrated leadershipOutstanding organizational and time management skillsExcellence in assessment, communication, critical thinking and decision makingAbility to effectively communicate across multiple levels of the organizationComputer skills, including MS Project, Powerpoint, Excel, and VisioClient-facing experienceUniversity degree or equivalent industry-related experienceBilingualism is an assetShoppers Drug Mart Inc. recognizes Canada’s diversity as a source of national pride and strength.
