The Program Development Coordinator, Organizational Development (OD) supports the development, piloting, and continuous improvement of OD programs withing the Faculty of Medicine (FoM). This position contributes to the planning, research, and coordination of program activities to advance the Faculty’s organizational development goals while ensuring alignment with the Faculty’s and University’s Strategic Plan.Organizational StatusThe University of British Columbia is a global centre for research and teaching, consistently ranked among the top 20 public universities in the world. The City of Vancouver is located on Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations territory.This position works directly with Organizational Development Manager and works closely with Senior Human Resources Manager and Director, Human Resources. The Program Development Coordinator will work collaboratively with planning team members, program sponsors ,cross-functional teams and affiliated stakeholders to effectively deliver programs.Work PerformedContributes to the piloting and refinement of programs, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives.Conducts research and stakeholder analysis to identify opportunities for program development and continuous improvement.Creates standard operating procedures to support the effective implementation and long-term sustainability of programs.Assesses and refines programs during both the pilot phase and ongoing delivery, identifying improvements to content, structure, and operations to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and participant experience.Supports the design, implementation, and analysis of evaluation tools to measure program effectiveness and inform future iterations.Collaborates with program management team to assess feedback from new and existing programs, conducting research and contributing to program modifications that improve outcomes.
