When you apply for this Production Supervisor position, you’ll get a permanent job right from the start.We’re looking for someone with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who can make themselves understood in both English and French. This person must have experience supervising more than 50 employees at a time.

– Manage a production team of around 50 people,
– Promote health and safety, quality, good manufacturing practices – Think about continuous improvement of teams and results.12h work schedule, day or night.
Day: 7am to 7pm OR 7pm to 7am
On a 3-2-2-3 schedule. (3 days on, 2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off).
Starting salary based on experience.Advantages

The Production Supervisor will …– Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and good manufacturing practices;
– Implant a culture of continuous improvement by actively participating in various initiatives and acting as a promoter;
– Meet, maintain or exceed production standards;
– Ensure that priorities and production schedules are followed, and manage the team accordingly;
– Coach team members so that they all contribute to the company’s objectives;
– Evaluate employees according to their performance and communicate observations to them;
– Ensure that all employees receive the training they need to perform their tasks;
– Ensure day-to-day coordination with other departments to minimize line stoppages and/or product waste;
– Promote team spirit, collaboration, respect and leadership.Qualifications
– College diploma;
– Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment (food, cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, etc.);
– Bilingual French-English;
– Knowledge of ERP system (AS400 and SAP);
– Knowledge of Office SuiteSummary
