Production Supervisor – Concrete ManufacturingLocation: Plymstock
Salary: £43,000 – £48,000 (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Permanent, Full-time (48 hours/week, 5 days)Are you an experienced Production Supervisor looking for your next opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are hiring a Production Supervisor to lead operations at our busy concrete production site in Plymstock.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily production processes, ensuring efficiency and high-quality output.
- Supervise and support staff, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintain health and safety standards, completing necessary reports and checks.
- Conduct machine inspections and basic maintenance to reduce downtime.
- Ensure all outbound deliveries meet quality control standards.
- Provide operational cover for breaks, holidays, and absences (training provided).
- Accurately complete HR and payroll returns for Head Office.
- Attend training as required to enhance skills and knowledge.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or concrete products.
- Strong mechanical or electrical knowledge.
- Proven ability to lead a small team effectively.
- Practical problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.
- Computer literate with good communication skills.
- Punctual, hardworking, and enthusiastic.
- Full UK driving license required.
