Production Environment Cleaner – 1st Shift

Position description

Job Summary

In this role, you will support and optimize production cleanliness within our production cleanroom environment. You will promote a safe working environment, comply with the use of PPE, report incidents, and maintain production environment to current standards. Perform and document routine inspection/cleaning tasks and maintenance activities.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize cleaning checklist to perform all tasks to the standards established by Quality Department. Common tasks include:
• Clean and disinfect flat surfaces, floors, walls, equipment, tables, chairs, etc.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum and/or scrub floors using brooms, mops, floor scrubber, and vacuum cleaners
• Prepare cleaning agents used and ensure proper disposal
• Wipe down walls, doors, shelving racks, product containers, etc.
• Identify potential safety or maintenance issues and communicate to Supervisor
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures relating to the performance of their tasks, use of products or supplies, and incident reporting

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent

Qualifications & Physical Demands:

• 1-2 years experience in a custodial, janitorial or cleaning service is preferred
• Strong Team Player
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to push, pull and lift 25 lbs. on a regular basis
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, push and pull objects (weighing up to 40 lbs.) for 8-12 hours during your shift

Additional Requirements

The 1st Shift schedule runs Monday-Friday from 6:30 am – 2:30 pm with a paid lunch period.
