Production Associate – Smoke Room

As a Production Associate in the Smoke Room, you will be essential in smoking, processing, and producing premium smoked salts. Your role will involve ensuring efficient production lines, adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and contributing to product development. As a Production Associate, you will:

• Load salt products into smoke processing equipment
• Lift racks of salt and place them in the smoke processing chamber
• Inspect salt for color and quality
• Remove prepared and cured salt and empty trays
• Walk salt through multiple processes and equipment to achieve desired results
• Record weight and quantity of finished salt
• Clean machines, trays, chambers, tubes, and heating coils using dry-ice or caustic soda chemicals, and manage daily waste removal
• Collaborate to document, improve, and develop new products
• Perform other projects and duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Reliable and detail-oriented, with a focus on salt color, texture, and smell
• Hands-on, dependable individual with the ability to work overtime as needed
• Positive attitude and openness to constructive criticism
• Cooking and food industry experience desired, but not essential
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• Must be able to stand for long periods, lift 55+ lbs repetitively, wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and work in a smoky environment

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay:
$20-$22/hr
