Hiring Requirements:As a Floater Operator at Bimbo Canada, you will:

• Set up, operate, and adjust machines
• Check product quality and adjust as necessary
• Clean and sanitize machinery, equipment and main processing area
• Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to ensure correct processing
• Maintain shift logs and record of other data
• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety legislation, Company Joint Health & Safety Programs, and Good Manufacturing Practices
• Actively participate in, and report all Health & Safety/Quality issues to Shift Supervisor/QA
• At times, associates may be required to lift up to 50 pounds. Additionally, standing for long periods of time, as well as walking, pushing, pulling, bending, and twisting will be required.
• Other duties as required

Production line work is performed indoors in a warm (at times hot), sanitary, and well-ventilated conditions. Some operators work near noisy machinery and/or near the equipment that generates heat or humidity. Production line is highly automated.
