We’re now hiring immediately for our Production position near me in Hartwell, GA.What we offerWeekly Pay of $17.00 per hourDirect deposit & debit card payment optionsHealth, vision, dental, life, and disability insuranceOvertime availableTraining providedJob Summary:Responsible for performing a variety of tasks in the processing of raw materials for the pet food, pharmaceutical and feed industries. Process Workers may work in any number of areas in the operation including receiving, freezer, sanitation, deboning (by machine), and storage; by performing the following tasks:Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:Perform routine tasks involved in producing, assembling, inspecting, testing or shipping a product • Load raw material into machinery that may grind, emulsify, mechanically debone, mix/blend and/or plate freeze productInspect product to ensure that it conforms to established quality control guidelinesDiscard incidental waste that cannot be processed into bins or other containers for proper disposalOperate process hose to pump product into plate freezer; hand pack; and insert dividers (when required) to separate product during processingPull blocks of frozen product from plate freezers by hand and physically slide product along rail and hand stack onto palletsPerform sanitation of machines and floors using high pressure hose and other tools to ensure that our equipment and facility is kept clean and hygienicWrap, weigh, mark and label processed items according to standard protocolAdherent to all safety guidelines and wearing of all required safety gear (PPE)Comply with the attendance guidelines of the company.Comply with all food safety/quality related programs and procedures accordingly to support GFSI and regulatory standards.Marginal Duties and responsibilities:Operate forklift or pallet jack to move or retrieve supplies for production line or for storage (if trained and certified to operate forklifts and pallet jacks)Demonstrates the ability to rig up and rid down tankers safely using fall protection.Could be working briefly at heights up to 12 feet.Disassembles, inspects, cleans and reassembles tank parts including, but not limited to, valves, caps, clamps, pumps and other equipment that is to be cleaned per standard operating procedures.Store finished product in freezer according to storage guidelinesOil plate freezers after product is removedOperate a series of control switches for processing machineryRemove cardboard from frozen products using box cutter or another tool

Sort pallets and discard broken pallets and other pallets not conforming to company guidelines.Remove trashParticipating in job and safety training offered and required by the CompanyMaintain good housekeeping of work areasOther duties as assigned.Requires Knowledge Skills Abilities and Attributes:Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to complete all assigned tasks and shifts assigned according to production requirementsAbility to work as a part of a team and treat coworkers with respectIndustry Technical and Workplace Experience:Experience in the meat processing industry is desired but not requiredLicense or Certification:Ability to obtain forklift and pallet jack certificationAcademic:High school diploma or GED preferredPhysical Requirements and Other Demands:Must be able to work around raw beef, chicken, fish, lamb, or other similar raw materials and odors.Must be able to lift to 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, Pushing and Pulling, using hands frequently.Must be able to work extended shifts and overtime as needed up to (6) days a week.Must have the ability to use appropriate personal protective equipment when inside the plant facilities.
