We care about people, the planet, and our business.Now, we’re looking for a Product Development & IBP Project Manager to join us and help drive this mission forward.Your RoleWe’re looking for a Project Manager to join our Product Development and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) team. The role is an exciting opportunity to be the powerhouse behind our NPD and innovation process as well as being a key part of our wider Integrated Business Planning. The role is essential to delivering new products for our Customers as well as delivering on our ambitious business plans.Location: This role will be based in London, with 2-3 days in the office with weekly travel to our Farm in Kent and occasional travel to our Leaf Lab in Cambridge.You’ll work closely with our Sales, Category, Farm, Technical, Construction and R&D Teams, playing a key role in enabling effective communications between all teams to keep us all on track. As part of this role, you’ll be expected to stand tall—delivering results with integrity and accountability.Who you’ll be working withYou’ll be a vital part of the Product and Planning team, which sits within our Growth team, we specialise in working collaboratively across the rest of the business.We believe in growing together, ensuring every team member has the opportunity to flourish and make a real impact. By integrating these priorities into team operations, they help employees understand their importance and empower them to contribute through their daily work and decision-making.What you’ll be doing

  • New Product Development and Continuous Improvement process: (50%)
  • Focussing on our Product Innovation process driving successful launches of new products and orchestrating trials that elevate our offerings to new heights
  • Using our 5Cs (Consumer, Customer, Category, Capability and Commercial) lens to drive products through our innovation gate process
  • Manage comprehensive project documentation, including product specifications, design files, and testing reports, ensuring seamless information flow and that new products can be manufactured profitably and safely, leaving no room for compromise.
  • Aware of relevant industry regulations, standards, and certifications, you’ll work together with our Technical Team to ensure that our products are always compliant and ahead of the curve.
  • Integrated Business Planning cycle: 50%
  • Managing our monthly Integrated Business Planning cycle, coordinating across the teams and reporting into Senior Leadership
  • Be the powerhouse driving projects along and the communication expert who can challenge when needed to bring everyone along as projects develop and course correct
  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget
  • Define project goals, deliverables, and milestones collaboratively across teams
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, assigning tasks and tracking progress.

  • Project Management – Ideally you would have 2 years experience of Project Management in an FMCG business
  • Strong Communication skills – you are an expert communicator and are flexible and adaptable at communicating with different functions of the business
  • Food industry experience – You will possess a deep understanding of the food industry whether that’s growing, manufacturing, retailing, or food technology. You have a technical background and experience operating with BRCGS standards

Nice to have skills:

  • A food or nutrition-based degree or equivalent qualification is a bonus
  • You have a calm manner, a flexible mindset and can negotiate competing demands.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail is important and maintaining a very high standard and quality is key

What success looks like in this role

  • 🌱 3 months in – You’ve rooted yourself in our business, built strong relationships across all teams, got your head round our Product and IBP processes and are beginning to drive Projects forward.
  • 🌿 6 months in – You’ve taken ownership of key initiatives and started seeing the fruits of your labour.
  • 🌳 12 months in – You’ve driven measurable impact, helping shape future strategies and making the business bloom.
