  • Lead purchasing activities for raw and indirect materials and plant maintenance stores.
  • Implement MRO strategies to reduce vendor numbers and enhance supplier integration.
  • Collaborate with production operations to manage warehouse or production changes affecting supply chain processes.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with corporate procedures through regular audits.
  • Provide quarterly material forecasts and update Finance on price changes affecting Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and lead process improvement initiatives.
  • Manage compliance with relevant regulations and support Finance with audit requests.

Ideal Profile

  • Relevant professional qualifications such as MCIPS or equivalent are desirable.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain management within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and manage multi-disciplined teams.
  • Proficient in supplier and customer relationship management.
  • Skilled in business analysis, process improvement, and organizational transformation.
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP (preferably SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite.
