Process Engineer – Direct HireAn electronic component manufacturing company needs a Process Engineer with PCBs manufacturing experience. This is a direct hire opportunity in Suwanee, GA!Salary of the Process Engineer:
$90k/yrResponsibilities of the Process Engineer:

• Implement process improvements to work methods, equipment, or other aspects of the process to improve efficiency.
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiency, yield, cost, and changeover.
• Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of the production process, identify process bottlenecks and create solutions.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining and improving quality standards.
• Advise and support corrective action implementations.
• Assist in the implementation of special projects from design to mass production including prototype development, unit build, reporting and inspection methods.
• Secure and maintain smooth technical correspondence between affiliate companies and outside organizations such as current and potential customers, part suppliers, sales representatives, and equipment manufactures.

Qualifications of the Process Engineer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and 2+ year of experience as Manufacturing / Process Engineer
• Knowledge of materials, SMT Placement machines, Wave solder, AOI machine, ICT, mechanical assembly, process flow, Lean/Kanban, product development, and troubleshooting
• Read and understand PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) design files and technical drawings, datasheets, and written work instructions
• Program and debug SMT (Surface Mount Technology) auto-insertion equipment and through-hole solder equipment such as wave solder and selective solder machines
• Assist with the installation, debug, and validation of process equipment
