Location: Belfast or Krakow

Bring your true self and your ideas to the table, there’s always room for you and we’re always listening.This position will be charged with managing and executing both business-to-business physical events and internal and external webinars in support of AMS Verified and partner marketing activities. This role requires a highly organized individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.What does a “day in the life” of my new team look like?

  • Develop and manage annual event (in-person and virtual) plan
  • Manage venue selection, sponsorships, and logistics for in-person events; manage platforms, speakers and content, and technical support for virtual events
  • Manage registration, attendance tracking, and post-event follow-up activities
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and project plans to ensure successful event delivery
  • Collaborate with CoE leaders (CL6+) across Innovation to define event objectives, target audience, and key messaging
  • Share events plans with senior leaders across AMS to amplify attendance
  • Build and manage relationships with senior-level external contacts in event companies and technology partners
  • Work closely with other members of Marketing and Sales teams to ensure maximum value is derived from each event
  • Create event briefing documents for internal use to ensure staff are properly briefed and address incoming inquiries for each event
  • Create and execute internal and external communication plans that equip teams with the information they need to share event information
  • Drive collaboration efforts with internal and external subject matter experts to create and deliver engaging and interactive webinar content
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional strategies and materials
  • Work with the marketing team to create content, assets and lead generation campaigns
  • Collect and analyse feedback from attendees to measure event success and identify areas for improvement
  • Prepare post-event reports, including budget reconciliation, attendee feedback, and key learnings
  • Create and deliver event reports to leadership on key learnings and wins

Who will I be working with?Build collaborative relationships across Innovation, with technology partners, and suppliers.What do you need from me?Must-haves

  • 2+ years of experience in managing and coordinating business-to-business in-person and virtual events
  • Ability to articulate ideas clearly in writing and in person, and synthesize key, relevant points from a mountain of noisy data. Explain abstract ideas in a clear and simple way.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously
  • Ability to influence senior colleagues and manage upwards
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft packages such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
  • Proficiency in event management software and webinar platforms
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work with data to drive improvements

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience driving events across regions and timezones
  • Experience working in consulting or at a technology start-up
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or similar area of study
