What a Press Operator will do:
- Set up and operate a 2-color press according to job specifications
- Monitor press performance, ensuring quality standards and consistency
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Adjust press settings for optimal ink distribution, registration, and drying
- Inspect printed materials for defects and make necessary adjustments
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
What you need to be a Press Operator:
- Previous experience operating a 2-color press or similar printing equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret job orders, blueprints, and quality specifications
- Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
- Able to stand for extended periods and frequently lift materials
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team-oriented environment
