FinanceUK0 – 2 years2 – 5 yearsAbout our clientWe are partnering with a growing private equity fund which is looking to hire a Portfolio Analytics Associate. Headquartered in London the team has decades of investing, development and operating expertise across the globe with an unparalleled track record in their strategy. This position will work across the business with a particular focus on portfolio and asset analytics, finance, operations and working with the portfolio companies and their leaders in order to drive strategic initiative in the development of business performance and enhancing real time analytics. The position will support senior management and the investment team through the deal lifecycle on due diligence and financial modelling. What the job involves
- Supporting on quarterly reporting, audit and valuation, treasury, insurance, corporate governance and other investor relations matters
- Management of portfolio company analytics
- Portfolio companies onboarding and internal KPI set up to follow 100 day plan
- Support portfolio companies CFOs in their efforts to professionalise the companies and ensure best operational practice
- Analyse and monitor performance of portfolio companies and review operational improvements in technology
- Supporting in the structuring and analytics of portfolio financing
- Analysis as required at portfolio company level
- Support on holding companies accounting, reporting & tax, and other corporate governance matters
- Day-to-day management of external finance advisors
- Establish, maintain, and implement standardisation in financial reporting, procedures, and policies to ensure robust financial and internal controls exist across the Group
- Participate in continuous improvement efforts to standardise and automate financial procedures to enhance the operational efficiency of the Group
- Support senior management and investment on through deal execution and due diligence, financial modelling, negotiation and closing process
Who we are looking for
- First class degree from in a quantitative field (math, physics, engineering, etc)
- Strong understanding of business intelligence tools and Microsoft office
- Previous experience in a private equity analytical environment
- Excellent analytical ability and meticulous attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
