The working hours are 6pm-6amIn a nutshell you will be responsible for:You will be working within a team of polishers processing various parts for castings, turned parts, pressings & spouts for various plating finish standards, predominantly for chrome and nickel finishes, with a total of ten finishes across all ranges produced.What you are already great at:

  • Polishing of components to the high-quality standard required by the company.
  • Ensuring all work is undertaken in accordance with any work instructions / procedures.
  • Ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are completed as required.
  • Reporting any quality issues / concerns to the team leader.
  • Carrying out routine maintenance when required.
  • Notifying the team leader of consumable items that are out of stock.
  • Maintaining good communications and relationships throughout the company.
  • Ensuring compliance with company procedures and make suggestions for improvement.
  • Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety requirements.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe working environment and good housekeeping standards and ensure 5S standards are maintained.
  • Willing to be trained in line with the skills matrix.
  • To be trained and guided by the training mentors.

For this role we would need you to demonstrate:

  • Extensive experience of working in the brass polishing industry.
  • Familiar with the linishing and grinding aspects of the polishing process in preparation for the final stages of polishing.
