The Secure Delivery Platforms lead the strategy, engineering, and delivery of enterprise capabilities that enable teams to move from idea to production securely, efficiently, and at scale. Our purpose is to unify the software delivery experience by embedding security, compliance, and governance directly into developer workflows while maintaining a strong focus on usability and speed. We partner closely with application, platform, and security teams to provide standardized, automated delivery paths that reduce friction and increase confidence in every release. core responsibilities

As a Platform Engineer, you will design and build DevOps Automation, Internal Developer Platforms and core CICD and Cloud infrastructure independently that accelerate engineering velocity and enable engineering excellence. You will build and DevOps tooling, software delivery pipelines, CICD automation, and create self-service capabilities that allow application teams to provision infrastructure and deploy services safely and efficiently. You will build and deploy observability platforms including logging systems, metrics collection, distributed tracing, and monitoring dashboards, conduct infrastructure validation and disaster recovery testing, and respond to platform incidents. You will collaborate with application engineering teams to understand requirements, make platform design decisions within established architecture, and mentor junior engineers on platform engineering practices.

Select responsibilities include:

• Develop, automate, maintain and govern CI/CD and Delivery tooling to standardize build, test, release workflows and engineering artifact management
• Create self-service platforms including APIs, templates, and portals that allow application teams to provision applications and infrastructure quickly and securely
• Build and deploy observability solutions including logging infrastructure, metrics pipelines, distributed tracing systems, alerting platforms, and monitoring dashboard
• Lead incident response for platform issues including root cause analysis, mitigation, and implementing preventive measures

qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
• 4-8 years of experience designing platform solutions, implementing infrastructure as code, and building scalable distributed systems, or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience managing Unified DevOps platforms such as Gitlab including Access Controls, Template Automation, Scalable Runner Infrastructure and Platform Compliance
• Proven experience designing and implementing complex platform solutions with self-service capabilities; track record of leading design discussions on platform automation approaches presenting trade-offs
• Experience engineering Kubernetes platforms and container orchestration solutions for production workloads; demonstrated ability to design cloud infrastructure abstractions enabling application teams to deploy without deep infrastructure knowledge
• Experience creating self-service platforms including APIs, templates, and portals allowing teams to provision and deploy safely; familiarity with designing platform interfaces focused on developer usability and productivity
• Hands on experience with Gitlab
• Experience with Developer Experience strategy is a plus

compensation and benefits package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from $112,200 – $147,200 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and subject to program eligibility requirements.
