- Crafting personalised menus that reflect the family’s preferences, dietary requirements, and seasonal availability of ingredients.
- Preparing daily meals, from casual family dining to formal multi-course dinners, with a focus on presentation and flavour.
- Managing the procurement of high-quality ingredients, liaising with local suppliers and specialty markets.
- Maintaining the kitchen to an immaculate standard, ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Planning and executing menus for private events, coordinating with household staff to deliver seamless service.
- Staying informed on global culinary trends and incorporating innovative techniques to enhance the dining experience.
- Preparing meals for travel, ensuring the same level of quality and precision when dining off-site.
- Collaborating with nutritionists, when necessary, to design balanced and health-conscious meals.
- Managing kitchen budgets, tracking expenditures, and maintaining detailed records for review.
Minimal Requirements:
- Five or more years of private chef experience.
- Expertise in gourmet and event-level cuisine.
- Excellent, checkable references.
- UK working permit.
