OverviewJoin us as a People & Operations Assistant, where you’ll be working with our SLT to help shape our company’s culture, people strategy, and operational excellence. As a pivotal part of a fast-growing company, you’ll collaborate with leadership to drive performance, foster team engagement, and ensure our people thrive in a dynamic environment. This role is ideal for someone who is super organised, excited about building a culture that enables high performance and growth and who likes to make every process as efficient as possible.Key ResponsibilitiesCulture & Team Building: Be the champion of our company culture, working to build an environment of high performance, inclusivity, and team cohesion. You will work with the leadership team to drive initiatives that reflect our core values and motivate employees to bring their best selves to work.Recruitment & Talent Management: Lead the end-to-end recruitment process in partnership with hiring managers, building job descriptions, using our ATS and onboarding new team members. Develop and execute strategies to attract top talent while building a strong employer brand.Employee Engagement & Development: Design and implement employee engagement strategies, from regular feedback cycles to 360-degree reviews. Foster a learning culture by coming up with initiatives in Learning & Development (L&D), coaching, and career progression, ensuring our people grow as the business grows.Operational Excellence: Oversee all HR operations, from managing employee records to implementing compensation and benefits our teams when integrating new acquisitions into the Mothership (process and people)Cross-Functional Support: Facilitate company-wide meetings and planning sessions, ensuring alignment between departments.Diversity & Inclusion: Act as a champion for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), ensuring all people initiatives promote fairness and opportunities for all.Wellbeing & Employee Support: Implement and maintain employee well-being programs, such as mental health support, gym memberships, and other holistic well-being offerings. Continuously evaluate and improve on initiatives that support the mental and physical health of our team.Operational Efficiency: Ensure smooth operation of HR and administrative functions, from managing share options to maintaining the company’s tech stack and intranet.Cultural Champion: You will constantly push for an awesome company culture, setting up key connectivity opportunities for the team, bearing in mind the remote first nature of the role.Continuous Improvement in People Ops: Develop and track key People metrics to monitor team engagement, performance, retention, and satisfaction, offering data-driven insights to the leadership team.Desired Skills & QualificationsEmpathy & Organisation: You have experience working in an entry level People position and are looking for your next role.Data-Driven Decision Making: You excel at using qualitative and quantitative data to inform people strategies, ensuring every initiative is intentional and impactful.Operational Expertise: Exposure across HR and People Ops processes, including recruitment, performance management, compensation and benefits, and cross-country employment legislation.Communication & Adaptability: Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
